I got to know Dr. Hema tharoor through another trans woman who had also gotten her GD certificate from her. I was super nervous about doing this because it would be the first time I ever told someone I didn’t know that I was Trans. But from the moment I stepped into her cabin, she made me feel welcome and valid. She listened to everything I had to say and asked questions accordingly. It felt really good to finally tell someone everything without having to worry about their impression of me. And by the end of it, we were discussing totally unrelated things cuz she was that easy to talk to. And I got my certificate after just 1 session. She even gave me an endocrinologist recommendation, since I wasn’t sure how I was gonna get from step 1 to 2. Over-all I couldn’t have asked for a better doctor
